RALEIGH - Lloyd Douglas Brooks, 68, passed away Sunday at Rex Healthcare. He was the son of the late Paul and Alberta Pendergraft Brooks. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Rowell Brooks and a brother, Kenneth Brooks. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. Survivors: daughter, Angie Creech and husband, Eddie of Benson; son, Greg Brooks of Raleigh; sister, Jane Becraft of Raleigh; brothers, Curtis Brooks of VA, Carl Brooks of Garner, Tim and Jim Brooks, both of Raleigh; grandchildren, Matthew, Rebecca and Luke Bain, Payton and Savannah Brooks, Taylor and Ashlyn Creech. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
