Dr. Harold Rotman, M.D.

RALEIGH – Dr. Harold Rotman, MD, age 88, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Dr. Rotman was born in Toronto, Canada, the son of the late Samuel Rotman and Hannah Miadovnic Rotman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Bessie Steinberg and Mynne Zuckerman; and by his brother, Alex Rotman.

Dr. Rotman is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ann “Maggie” Margaret Rotman; daughters, Sara Ruth Rotman and husband, Nathan Diaz, Rebecca Rotman Dunmire; son, David Rotman and wife, Susan Rotman; and by his grandchildren, Michael Robert Dunmire II, and wife, Madelyn Elyse Dunmire, Dennis Samuel Dunmire, Hannah Margaret Rotman, and Alexander Edward Rotman.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Raleigh Hebrew Cemetery with Rabbi Mendy Wilschanski officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Dr. Rotman’s memory to Congregation Sha'arei Israel-Chabad of Raleigh, 7400 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, NC 27615.
