Dwight Louis Broadwell, 82, died Wednesday at Cornerstone Nursing Home. A native of Harnett County he was the son of the late Paul Broadwell and Islan Stephenson Broadwell. He was a farmer and operated numerous greenhouses until his health declined. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Angier United Methodist Church in Angier. Burial will follow at Kennebec Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include his daughters, Sharon Broadwell Hawley (Donny), Shelia Broadwell Burkette (Wesley), and Jan Broadwell Snipes (David), sisters, Mabel B. Yelvington; Linda B. Stephenson (Thomas); brothers, Bruce Broadwell, Coy Lee Broadwell (Carolyn); grandchildren, Brian Stephenson, Christyn Stephenson, Adam Cantu, Andrea Hawley, Andrew Hawley, Ashley Quaife and husband, Colby, Reid Barnes, Lauren Barnes, Jennifer Andersen and husband, Erik, Ashley Snipes, Alyssa Snipes, Dalton Snipes and nine great-grandchildren and son-in-law Richard Prior and numerous nieces and nephews, whom he loved greatly and who loved him greatly. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Doris Broadwell and daughter, Susan Broadwell Prior. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Memorial contributions may be made to the Angier United Methodist Church P.O.
