Dwight M. Price

ANGIER - Dwight M. Price, 76, passed away on Tuesday. A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late Hubert Colon Price and Ammie Elizabeth Johnson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Kennebec Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Erwin Memorial Cemetery, Erwin. Dwight proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, retiring in 1982 as Chief Petty Officer. Surviving are his daughters, Annette Gibbs and husband Jeff of Louisville, KY, Terrie Price Simpson of Angier, Tammie Bohlander and husband Patrick of Chesapeake, VA; brother, H.C. Price of Reidsville; four grandchildren, April, Billy and wife Heather, Matthew, Megan; and six great-grandchildren, Hailey, Beau, Cody, Makayla, Zoey, and Silvia. In addition to his parents, Dwight was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lee Price; sisters, Hazel Norris, Elsie Mills, Barbara Jean Price; brothers, Wayne Price and George Price; and grandson, Jacob Brock.
