Ealane Elizabeth King

June 9, 1919 - January 4, 2012 RALEIGH - Ealane E. King passed away on January 4, 2012 at Rex Hospital. Ealane was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born June 9, 1919 in Spray, NC, to the late Frank H. Eanes and Virginia Dare Wilson Eanes. She is the widow of Russell M. King who died in 1997.She is survived by her daughter, Dixie King Kennedy and husband Mel C. Kennedy of Raleigh; grandson, Mark A. Kennedy and wife Paige Marion Kennedy of Raleigh; great granddaughters Elizabeth Dare Kennedy and Katherine Paige Kennedy. Also surviving are sisters: Margaret Kirkman of Greensboro NC; Ora Rathgeb of Alton, Ill; Reva Harris of Eden NC; and her brother Thomas Eanes of Critz VA. She was predeceased by her brothers: E. Everett Eanes, Joseph Eanes, Hanible F. Eanes and Benjamin Eanes.A Memorial Inurnment Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Lake View Memorial Gardens in Greensboro, North Carolina.
