Earl Mclamb

Earl McLamb, 87, of Garner, North Carolina passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023, in his home. He was born January 31, 1936, in Johnston County, North Carolina to the late Atlas and Lettie Raynor McLamb.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Jean Adams McLamb of the home; his two sons, William Craig McLamb and his wife, Cathy of Garner and Gary Earl McLamb of Garner; his brother, Jimmy Ray McLamb of Zebulon and his two grandchildren, Chase McLamb and Logan McLamb.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Sherrill McLamb and Atlas McLamb, Jr and his sister, Edna Lee.

Earl was a loving husband, father and granddaddy that will be greatly missed. He was a barber for many years, his professional career carried him to work and retire from the State of North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections, where he worked as a barber instructor Central Prison and later was a program director for Polk Youth Center. Earl attended church at Garner Church of Christ.

His visitation will be held Monday, April 24, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 1:00 pm in the Garner Church of Christ with Pastor Lucian Robinson officiating. The entombment will follow in the Montlawn Memorial Park.
