Eddie Lassiter, Jr.

Freeman E. Lassiter, Jr., 74, went home to be with the Lord on Friday April 21, 2017. Eddie worked for Sears as a delivery driver for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Wilmington, NC. at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM. Eddie was preceded in death by his wife Linda and father; Freeman, Sr. He is survived by his mother; Louise Gupton Lassiter; daughter; Pamela Summersett and husband Paul; son; Scott Lassiter and wife Tammy; four grandchildren, Ashley Russell and husband David, Bryan Lassiter, Eddie Lee Wood and Candy Wood and great-granddaughter, Samantha Russell.
