Edgar Haywood Taylor

Edgar Haywood Taylor, 73, of Sea Gate, passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. At his request, the family will celebrate his life privately. Ed was born on Dec. 10, 1942 to William H. and Elizabeth A. Taylor in Carteret County. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn S. Taylor of the home; one son, Grant Taylor of University Place, WA; step daughters, Kristen C. Arrowood of Indian Trail, NC, and Melissa C. Fulkerson and husband Jeff of Holly Springs, NC; grandchildren, Alexis Scott, Jacob Arrowood, and Kat Fulkerson; brother, William A. Taylor of Morehead City; nephew, Keith Piner; and niece, Laura Swain. He was predeceased by his parents, and his sister, Lillian Ann Piner.
