Edith Turner Allen

ANGIER – Edith Turner Allen, 94, passed away on Saturday at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Turner and Belva Stewart Turner.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 26th at Neill’s Creek Baptist Church, Angier. The burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 25th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.

Edith is survived by her, sons, Larry Allen (Donna) of Fuquay-Varina, Steve Allen (Tricia) of Willow Spring, Glenn Allen (Joanna) of Willow Spring; grandchildren, Seth Allen (Shannon), Jordan Allen (Albert), Jacob Allen (Lauren), Holly Tart, Katina Shaw (Marvin), Stephanie Driscoll (Ryan), Neil Allen (Ashley), Sarah Allen (Mark), Emily Derringer (Jacob), and Hannah Allen; nineteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandbaby on the way; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson E. Allen; and two great grandchildren.
