Edith W. Allen

GARNER - Edith W. Allen, 89, passed away Friday. A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Judson Sexton Wall and Mae Hogwood Wall. Funeral services will be Monday 1:00 pm at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 11:00-12:30. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Laland Allen; daughters, Marilyn Allen of Garner and Sharon Allen of Raleigh; sisters, Topsy Coleman of Garner and Emily Moore and husband, Donald of Apex; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister, Helen Phillips; brother, Lewis Wall; sister-in-law, Pauline Wall; brothers-in-law, Millard Coleman and Rudy Phillips.
