Edna Earle Wilson Marshall

Raleigh - Edna Earle Wilson Marshall, 98, a life long resident of Raleigh went to be with her Lord on June 29, 2011.A native of Raleigh, Mrs. Marshall was born on September 19, 1912 and was the last surviving of 8 children born to the late Bettie Holleman Wilson and Willis James Wilson.She was predeceased by her husband Edward Hilliard Marshall and is survived by three sons: Earl H. Marshall and wife Michael of Wilmington; Wayne W. Marshall and wife Marianne; and Stacy C. Marshall of Raleigh. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Catherine M. Baritell, Charlotte M. Tew, and Kristin M. Hoffman, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Edna was a loving mother and grandmother and an active member of the North Raleigh Chapel.She worked for many years at the North Carolina Fire Insurance Rating Bureau. Her family is grateful to the staff at Raleigh Rehabilitation and HealthCenter for their loving care during the past 4 years of Ednas declining health.The service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 2 in the Bryan-Lee Chapel, 831 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh 27604. The Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. There will be a visitation beginning at 10 AM prior to the service.
