Edna M. Mitchell

Edna M. Mitchell, 81, passed away peacefully at home Friday morning. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Lessie Mobley, stepfather Alger Lee and brother, William Mobley. Edna worked at Occidental Life Insurance Company until 1988. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 PM at Hayes Chapel Christian Church, Garner. Visitation will be 1 hour prior. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James C. Mitchell, son Dale Mitchell (Cindy), daughter, Sharon Moore (Neal), grandchildren Nicole Johnson (Michael), Ryan Moore, Jacob Mitchell, Shannen Moore and one great grandchild, Cooper Johnson. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Hayes Chapel Christian Church, Garner.
