Edward G. Liptak

Edward G. Liptak, of Cary, North Carolina passed away on July 5, 2018 at the age of ninety nine. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on September 15, 1918, he was predeceased by wife Mary Mordovanec Liptak. He is survived by one son, Robert W. Liptak and wife Peggy of Celebration, Florida; three grand-daughters Kimberly Liptak Calhoun (husband David) of Cary, Traci Liptak Carey of CT, and Kari Liptak Rattigan (husband John) of FL, and seven great grandchildren. Edward proudly served in the Navy in WW2 on the USS Dobler. He was a retiree of United Technologies/Sikorsky Aircraft and Perkin Elmer in Connecticut. We would like to thank the wonderful staff and his friends at Glenaire Retirement Community who enriched his life daily, where he was a fifteen year resident. Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life/Memorial Service with military honors on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 10 am at Glenaire Retirement Community Auditorium, 4000 Glenaire Circle, Cary, NC 27511.
