Edward L. Lindsey, Jr.

Edward Lee Lindsey Jr, passed away on Sunday at Carolina East Medical in New Bern, NC. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh. Donnie Rooks will officiate. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Lavina Brooks-Kilgore Lindsey of Kennels Beach, NC; a son, Anthony Lindsey of Fuquay Varina; a step son, Tommy Kilgore and wife Janean; two brothers, Bill and Steve Lindsey; two sisters, Sandra and Susan Lindsey; a daughter in law, Deana Leggett; and four grandchildren, Matthew Kilgore, Jackson, Isabella and Brooks Leggett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Lee Lindsey Sr and Salle Golemon Snipes. The family will receive friends following the graveside on Wednesday.
