Edward "Scott" Henderson

Edward "Scott" Henderson 54, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2024, in his Garner home, surrounded by his loving wife, Ronda Anne Henderson, and sister-in-law, Wanda Lynne Gattis.

Scott was a legend of the 87' GSHS football team. He was inducted into the Garner Football Hall of fame and his legacy will be forever remembered. He was an N.C. State alumni with a love for the outdoors. As we all know he had a charismatic smile, breathtaking blue eyes and skin kissed by the sun. He was a true fighter and one of the strongest men we ever knew with a heart of gold. He was blessed to marry his best friend and soulmate and the one who stole his heart on March 15th, 2024.

Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents, William "Bill" C Spiess, and Margaret "Bonnie" E Spiess. He is survived by his parents, Timothy Henderson, and Bonnie Spiess Henderson; brother, John Kirk Henderson; his wife Ronda Anne Henderson, and extended family and beloved pets.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends for a period of visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 31st at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
