Eleanor Marie Hunter

On January 22, 2023, Eleanor Marie Hunter Daughter to the late George and Beatrice Powell (Hines) passed away peacefully at age 90 after a brief illness. Eleanor was the biological mother of Four children. However, many of her Grandchildren considered her their mother. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of all her children. Anyone who knows them know that she was a star in their eyes, and that’s all that ever mattered to her. Eleanor was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others, church and Fishing. Some people only walk this earth for a short time. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. Last Sunday, Eleanor rejoin her heavenly family and gained her wings.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter Joyce Barron, her sons Roger, Willie and Norman Barron, and many grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband’s Robert Barron and Edward Hunter.

A visitation will be held on Friday January 27 at 4:00-7:00 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner, North Carolina.

There will be a wake on February 4, 2023 from 9AM - 10AM at Judkins Colonial Home in Plainfield, NJ. The burial service will follow at 10AM. Repass will follow the burial.
