Eleanor Porter Webb

Raleigh – Eleanor Porter Webb, 84, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on Friday, December 4.  She was the widow of Benjamin D. Webb, Sr. to whom she was married for 55 years. Surviving are her children, Davis Webb and his wife Laine, Karen Gwyn and her husband Danny, Kathryn Mason and her husband Dan, LeRoy Lambert and his wife Sherri; grandchildren, Ben and Justin Webb; Kelsey, Andrew, and Cameron Mason; and James, Hannah, and Grace Lambert; and her sister, Kathryn Sykes. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 8, at 2 PM at Forest Hills Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends at the church from Noon until 1:45 PM.  Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607; Benson Baptist Church, 200 West Church Street, Benson, NC 27504; or to the Forest Hills Baptist Church Harmony-Fidelis Sunday School Class, 201 Dixie Trail, Raleigh, NC 27607.
