Ella Moore Phillips Mills

RALEIGH - Ella Moore Phillips Mills, died Wednesday, April 4th. Born in Martin County, she was the daughter of the late Rupert Andrew and Elsie Peel Phillips. She graduated from the University of North Carolina and was a charter member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church.Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 1201 Maxwell Drive, Raleigh, NC 27603. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.Surviving are her daughter, Cathy G. Mills of Raleigh; son, Charles A. Mills and wife, Lynn of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Peyton and Kayley Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin R. Mills and brother, R.A. Phillips of Pittsburgh, PA.In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
