Ellie Lenora Wray

April 25, 1937 — July 11, 2016

Ellie Lenora Wray, 79, passed away in Tn. July 11, 2016.  A native of Johnston Co., she was the daughter of the late Paul Sr. and Alma Langdon. Ellie worked for N.C. Dept. of Transportation for many years as a Clerical Supervisor. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM Sat. July 16, 2016 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Hannah’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Four Oaks, NC. Ellie was preceded in death by the husband of her children; Vernon Williams and her second husband Clayton Lee Wray. She is survived by her daughter; Cindy Franks and husband Donald, son, Todd Williams and partner Don Lawver stepdaughter Rosemary Counts and husband Billy; stepson, Kenneth Wray and wife Sara; sister, Annie Sue Wall and husband Jesse, brother Paul E. Langdon, Jr. and wife Barbara; grandchildren, April Tolley and husband Steve, Christina Dixon and boyfriend Chris, great-grandchildren Samantha and Stephen Tolley, step-grandchildren Isaiah Wray and Slade Counts. The family will receive friends and relatives two hours prior to the service from 1 – 3 PM at the funeral home.
