Eloise Hodge Bazemore

Eloise Hodge Bazemore, 87, of Raleigh, died Tuesday at her home. Born in Wake County, she was the daughter of the late John Manning Hodge and Josie Marie Odom Hodge. She was a graduate of Needham B. Broughton High School and was a teacher’s assistant at Powell Elementary School for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Mickey Bazemore and her son Mike Bazemore and also three brothers and one sister. She is survived by daughters Ann Bazemore and Cindy Bazemore, daughter-in-law Debbie Bazemore, sister Shirley Peeler; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, August 25, 2018 in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Rd., Raleigh. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.
