Emma Christine Glover

BURGAW - Emma Christine Glover, 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Monday August 27, 2018. Born in Morrisville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Linwood and Ollie Belle Lasater. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to the service. Survivors include daughters, Leslie Glover Reynolds (Pete) of Raleigh, Hilda Lyman (Mike) of Garner, and granddaughter, Britney Lane (Matthew) of Benson; sisters, Linda Hayes (Donnie) of Rocky Point, Joyce Glover (Allen) of Willow Spring, Josephine Phillips (Eddie) of Smithfield and Judy Casey of Canada; brothers, Hilly Lasater (Carolyn) of Newport, James Lasater (Barbara Jean) of Wake County; grandchildren Lee Young (Ciara), Holly Young Guess (Jacob), Michael Lyman (Elizabeth) and Priscilla Lyman, as well as five great- grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James Lloyd Glover and daughter, Angela Glover Young, as well as several siblings. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
