Emma Earle Daeke

Raleigh Emma Earle Daeke died on Saturday, June 18, 2016.  She was a lifetime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.  She was active in the choir, Sunday school, church, and Missionary Union until two years ago.  She retired after 33 years with the NC Department of Motor Vehicles. Miss Daeke was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Daeke and Lalon O’Briant Daeke, and by her sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn Daeke Ragan and Thomas Ragan. She is survived by her sister, Mary L. Daeke, a niece, four nephews, and many beloved cousins. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, at 11 AM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Raleigh.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 until 11 AM on Tuesday.
