Eric Scott Dean

GARNER - Early Tuesday morning, Eric Scott Dean, age 38, passed away in his home and moved on to score in the great soccer fields in heaven.  He is survived by his wife, Caitlin, and his three children:  Patience, 15; Jackson, 12; and Beck, 3. Eric was born October 5, 1978 to his parents, Mrs. Ann Caudle and Mr. Glenn Dean in Raleigh, North Carolina.  His family includes his step-mother, Carolyn and his sister, Leigh Ann Dean, all of Garner, and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom he loved dearly. He graduated from Garner High School and attended Wake Tech Community College.  He was a long term employee at Bocci Italian Restaurant in Cary and adopted the staff and customers there as his extended family.  He worked during the day at Paramount Construction, which he enjoyed. He was a dedicated father to Patience, Jackson, and Beck and loved his children more than life itself.  He was a selfless dad and husband.  He participated in all of their sports and academic activities.  He met Caitlin six years ago and they celebrated their marriage five months ago.  They were soul mates, inseparable, and were living such a wonderful life.  They were planning to move into their new home the week of his death.  He loved soccer and was an avid music lover. A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 pm prior to the service.
