Erica Truesdale Gregory

ANGIER – Erica Truesdale Gregory, 46, passed away and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, Erica was the daughter of Eric Kent and Kim Truesdale. Erica graduated high school in 1994 at Harnett Central High School.

She was a loving wife and a devoted mother to her four children. Taking care of her family was what she was most passionate about. Erica will be remembered for having the most beautiful soul, inside and out. She was the most selfless person, always putting others first and never failed to put a smile on someone’s face.

Erica is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Wesley Gregory; daughter, Aspen Gregory; sons, Caden Gregory and wife, Payton, Keenan Gregory, Easton Gregory; mother-in-law Yvonne Gregory; sister, Tanya Bryant and husband, Todd; paternal grandmother, Ruth Truesdale; sister-in-law Kimberly Owens and husband, Daniel; nieces and nephews Alexandra Owens, Christopher Bryant and wife Madison, Dylan Owens, Amilie Bryant, Sebastian Owens, Carter Bryant, and Asher Bryant; great-nephew Patrick Bryant; her canine companions, Maggie, Nova, and Charlee; and a host of extended family and friends.

Erica was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Rev. Kirk Hendricks and Margaret Hendricks; paternal grandparents, Rev. James Truesdale and Lula Mae Truesdale; uncle, John Hendricks; father-in-law, Maynard Gregory; and niece, Kaitlyn Owens.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00-7:00 PM on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Angier. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Angier Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
