Erna J. Vines

Erna Jung Vines passed away on Monday morning January 30th after a brief illness. She was 88 years old. There will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, February 15th at 11:00am at the main post cemetery at Fort Bragg, NC. Erna or Erni as her friends called her, worked for many years in the Fayetteville area as a waitress and hostess. She was preceded in death by her husband Huey P. Vines, her eldest son Patrick V. Vines, her mother Rosa Weck, and by her adopted parents Rudolph and Henrietta Jung. Erna is survived by a son, Brian H. Vines; a daughter, Monique F. Vines; a granddaughter Venessa F. Vines and a sister, Roswitha Wantke and by her cousin, Otto Scharf. Mutter, wir lieben dich. You will be missed.
