Garner: Ernest Bradley Tinnin, 86, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday. He was born in Durham County to the late Ernest Perry and Nancy E. Ferrell Tinnin. Mr. Tinnin worked approximately 40 years with Employment Security Commission and he was veteran of the US Army. Funeral Service will be on Friday May 4, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Midway Baptist Church with burial to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh, NC. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Hazel Parson Tinnin, a daughter, Charlene Chapman and her husband David ; a son, Rev. Al Tinnan and his wife Mischia; granddaughters, Charity Tinnin, Faith T. Jones, and Hope Tinnin, a sister, Lessie T. Sanderson. Family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday May 3, from 6-8 PM at Midway Baptist Church, 6910 Fayetteville Road, Raleigh, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Midway Baptist Church 6910 Fayetteville Rd. Raleigh NC or to South Mountain Baptist Camp 3558 Baptist Camp Rd. Connellys Springs, NC 28612.
