Ethel W. Burnette

Ethel Lorraine Wrenn Burnette, 104, died Friday at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19 at New Bethel Baptist Church in Garner. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of the church following the service. Burial will be private. Mrs. Burnette is survived by her son, R. G. Burnette, Jr., and wife, Robin, of Raleigh; her daughter, Martha Bagley, of Atlantic Beach; grandchildren, John Leach Burnette, James Brenton Burnette, Isham Trotter Bagley III and Chadwick Garland Bagley and wife, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Coral Cecilia Maxwell, Iva Morgann Owens, Cooper Garland Bagley and Colton Green Bagley. Mrs. Burnette was predeceased by her husband, Richard Garland Burnette, Sr.; her grandson, Richard Garland Burnette, III; her great-grandson, Hunter Richard Burnette; her sisters Sudie Bryan and Mabel Mitchiner; and her brothers Clifford Wrenn and Dr. Creighton Wrenn. The family extends special thanks to Mrs. Burnettes caregivers, Kristy Braswell, Alicia Galindez, Mallory Davis and Christi Ocke, and to the staff of Transitions LifeCare.
