Eugene Daryl Myers

GARNER – Eugene Daryl Myers, 59, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 31,2023. Eugene was born on December 11, 1963, in Wake County, North Carolina. He was the son of JoAnne and Leamon Myers.

He graduated from South Johnston High School and was a graduate of NC State University. He was an Eagle Scout with Troop 64 and was heavily involved in scouts for 22 years. He owned and operated his own landscape business before starting Bobwhite Electrical Services in 2007, where he was also the owner and operator. He was a member of the William T. Bain Masonic Lodge and was Master in 2022.

He is survived by his wife of nine years, Karen Myers; parents, JoAnne, and Leamon Myers; daughters, Crystal Givens, and Sabrina Boatwright; son, Sandy Myers; brothers, Barry Myers and wife April, Kevin Myers and wife Laura, Joel Myers and wife Jenny; grandchildren, Bryce Woodard, and Amelia Rae Boatwright and many nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 6th, at 11 am at Mt. Zion Global, 15772 NC Hwy 50 North, Garner, NC 27529. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, February 5th from 4-6pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
