Eugenia Dadul Daria

September 6, 1935 — January 10, 2024

Our hearts are crushed to let our family, relatives, family friends, townmates and neighbors around the globe to know that our beloved mother - NANA

EUGENIA D. DARIA passed away in her sleep last January 10, 2024 due to flu and cold symptoms.

For those don't know, our beloved NANA Eugenia came to America together with our TATA Pascual (Dad) sometime in 2009 after some years of her retirement as an Elementary Grade School Teacher in English and Music. She was also a Guidance Counsellor, she visited different schools around the town and some schools in the remote islands where she travelled just a small motor boat to reach those schools.

Our loving Mom - NANA is such a beautiful soul, in and out, has bright smiles and gracious spirits, she has a great and generous heart to help people in need. We remembered those days, Some relatives and neighbors can rely on her if they are in need, she helped some pupils /students, relatives of her and Tata (Dad) Pascual's side welcoming to our home, those who have no food to eat, whose parents cannot afford to send them to school, whose parents entrusted them to NANA and TATA to live with us like a part of our "big & happy family" in our humble abode. Nana and Tata are always open and very welcoming to our extended families at home. Nana's generous spirit for giving them pieces of advice, shared stories with moral lessons, taught and raised them good values and life skills /chores.

Especially most, they taught them to be God-fearing & faithful, prayerful and God-reliant!

As our loving and caring Mom / NANA, she poured out her heart for us, molding to what we are today and helped us all the time in anything she could when we were down and nothing. Looking back to our parents sacrifice, it is always our best interest to look after them, it is our dream for them to have a comfortable life, endless love & support for our parents and let them enjoy life on their retirement age with family, & friends. Their long years of stay here were absolutely full of fun and great memories. We toured them around to different places, they also enjoyed visiting and meeting family friends and townmates occassionally.

Suddenly an unexpected turn of events hit our family, way back in February 2022, our beloved Mom / NANA was in comas for 3 days in the ICU Raleigh Hospital, half of her body got paralyzed due to Stroke.

But gladly through her strong faith and fervent prayers from the people who loves her, she woke-up from being comatose and kept her sharp memory intact. She recovered and discharged from the hospital to go home and being taken cared 24 hours by our loving family. Throughout her year-long of therapy and recovery journey, she never gave up hope or lost her spirits, inspiring us all with her resilience and unwavering faith!

Moreover, NANA and TATA's devoted love for each other were even blessed beyond measure to reached their 63rd Wedding Anniversary last December 8, 2023.

Throughout the years, our beloved mother Nana Eugenia expressed her desire to be laid to rest in her birthplace - Guiuan, Philippines. It was her final wish, and we are committed to honoring it.

Join us honoring our gentle and humble Mom / NANA's Eugenia Dadul Daria, legacy of love, care, sacrifice, generosity, devotion and strengths.

Your kindness and generosity will forever be remembered as we grant our beloved Mom / NANA a peaceful journey HOME that she desired from the bottom of her heart so that some of her children, grand children, sibling, relatives, friends and townmates can see her for final goodbye!
