Eunice Newton Ferrell

Eunice Newton Ferrell died Friday, May 20th peacefully at home in Angier, NC. She is survived by her daughters, Elaine Morris (Greg) of Charlotte, N.C., Lou Ann Estes (Dwight) of Oak Island, N.C.; daughter-in-law, Ginger Ferrell of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; brother, Melvin Newton (Nancy) of Raleigh; grandchildren, Colby Mills (Stan) of Paducah, K.Y., Meredith Lide (Patrick) of Cayce, S.C., Taylor Ferrell (Natalie) of Hendersonville, N.C., Kelsey Ferrell of Boone, N.C.; great-granddaughter, Felicity Estes of Oak Island, N.C. and great-great granddaughter, Anna Noel of Oak Island, N.C. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde R. Ferrell and son, Don W. Ferrell; her sisters, Virginia Green, Alice McLeod, Jean Newton; and brothers, J.D., Alvin, Wilbur, Cleo, and Everette Newton. Eunice faithfully devoted her life to church and family and was committed to helping others in service to the community as a postal clerk. Funeral services will be held at Bryan Lee Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, at 2 p.m. with visitation from 1-1:45 p.m. Following the service, burial will be at Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
