Eva Keene

Raleigh – Eva Williford Keene (94), passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024. A native of Sampson County, Eva was born September 27, 1929, to the late William (Bill) and Rella Tadlock Williford. She was employed with Dorothea Dix Hospital as a healthcare technician for twenty-five (25) years. After her retirement she enjoyed her family, grandkids and traveling.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 2PM, in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Benson Road Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends from 1-2PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at 4:30PM, at Hillcrest Cemetery, HWY 701 (about a mile south of Newton Grove) Newton Grove, NC.

Eva is survived by her son, Tony Keene and wife, Donna; daughter, Patricia Adcock; grandson, Daniel Keene and wife, Brittaney and granddaughter Brittany Adcock; and three great grandchildren, Grace Ann Keene, Cameron Cooke, and Aiden Keene; sister-in-law, Rev. Gladys R. Williford; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kelly Nacole Keene; and her siblings, Raymond M. Williford, Thelma W. Tart and husband, George, William Kirby Williford and wife, Barbara, Alma W. Tadlock and husband, Tom, and Ralph L. Williford, Sr. and wife, Elaine.
