Evelyn Joan Potter

Joan Stancil Hunt Potter February 2, 1944 – September 18, 2023 Garner, NC – Joan passed away

September 18 th in her home. She was a proud, lifelong resident of Garner. Locally known for her

career in real estate and later as an Amsoil distributor. She was involved in many local sports

leagues and was an avid bowler. She was most happy when sharing good times with her many

friends and family.

She was first married to Jimmy Hunt of Garner and later to Danny Potter from Bristol Tennessee.

She is survived by her children Glenn Hunt and his husband Herman Ortiz, Wanda Lanier and her

husband Tracy, Jeffrey Hunt and his wife Maryana, and her grandchildren Kristin Lanier, Kaitlyn

Lanier, Osbourne Hunt, and Sawyer Hunt.

Visitation with family and friends will be at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner, Sunday

September 24 th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Please join us to share in a remembrance of her life.
