GARNER.- Evelyn Marshall Hagwood, 94, died early Friday morning after several months of declining health. 'Mother' and 'Grandmother', as she was affectionately known, grew up on a farm in Rolesville, the youngest of 10 children born to Willie and Emma Marshall. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, October 21 from 2-3pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner, followed by a graveside service at MontlawnMemorial Park at 3:30pm. She was predeceased by her husband and best friend, Morris, and her daughter, Vicki Snotherly. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Emma Hagwood; grandsons and their wives, Chris and Stacie Hagwood, and Paul and Wendy Hagwood, and the loves of her life, her great-grandchildren, Alex, Jenna, Jamie, Caitlin and Connor Hagwood. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the loving staff people at Oak Hill Assisted Living in Angier. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimers Association
