Evelyn P. Finocchio

Raleigh - Evelyn Parrish Finocchio, 89, died Wednesday at her home. A native of Wake Co., she was the daughter of the late Talmadge and Lottie Lee Talton Parrish. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Finocchio, son, Jimmy B. Mewbernand sisters, Audrey P. Hickman and Hollis P. Stephenson.Funeral services will be Friday at 3:00 PM at Montlawn Mausoleum Chapel. Surviving: daughter-in-law, Becky Mewbern, grandson, Timothy Mewbern, three great-grandchildren; nieces, Nancy H. Cagle of Garner, Gail Butler (Rob) of Chapel Hill and Holly Thomas (David) of Raleigh and Janet Hickman of Garner; nephews, Bud Hickman of Raleigh, Donnie Hickman (June) of Wilmington, Harold Stephenson, Jr. of Colorado and Billy Gehweiler of Raleigh; her caregivers, Angie Henderson, Melissa Brameyer and Lynette Ruffin and several great nieces and nephews and cousins.Memorial contributions may be made to the Garner United Methodist Church Building Fund, 101 Methodist Dr., Garner, NC27529.
