Evola Edwards 86, passed away March 27, 2020 at Pruitt Health after a short illness. Evola was born March 8, 1934 to Louise Pierre and Charles Coulon in New Orleans, Louisiana. To meet Ms. Evola was to love her. Her faith and encouragement touched lives across the country. Ms. Evola was a faithful member of the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research. She first became a member of the New Orleans, LA branch of IDMR in 1986 before relocating to Raleigh N.C. Her life was a great witness to the creator Yahweh our Elohim in every way. Always seeing the good in his purpose. “This is Yahweh’s purpose, it is what it is and ain’t nothing you can do about it!” Was one of her many favorite sayings. She loved to write notes to encourage others to continue to look to their savior no matter what the circumstance. She loved to write songs and always ask Yahweh to never take her voice. The words to a song she wrote and sang: You alone, you alone Yah you alone Are the dream I have known Bringing love to my lonely heart. Now the dream has come true. Heaven is here I will spend eternity with you. The dream has come true and I will spend eternity with you. Ms. Evola was proceeded in death by her husband, Harold Sr., daughter, Deborah, and sons, Roy and Harold Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory, special friends Peggy Lamm, Dottie Allen-Denton, Karen Daniels, Lynette Zurn, Elsie and Casandra Cola. She also leaves many family members and as well spiritual family. The voices of the Angels of Yahweh are never silent. Ms. Evola continues to sing a song of rejoicing and is now free to fly with the butterflies. There will be no services held due the COVID-19 pandemic. Evola will be buried with her husband Harold in a private ceremony at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake, NC.
