Faye Adams Jones

Faye Adams Jones, 86, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 20 at the Laurels of Forest Glen surrounded by her loving family. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Cephus Adams and Lillie Mae Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Tom Nelson Jones, Sr., son Thomas Tommy Nelson Jones, Jr. ; brothers, Clarence C. Billy and Curtis F. Adams; and sisters, Maxine Adams Campbell and Hilda Adams Lee. Mrs. Jones was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and sister. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Highland Baptist Church, Raleigh. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Surviving: daughter, Laurel Jones Pearce and husband, Ricky of Garner; son, Matthew Adams Jones and wife, April of Apex; grandchildren, Brian and Jared Pearce and Carrington Jones; great grandchildren, Jake and Emmi Pearce; sister Edith Earl Currin, and a special daughter-in-law, Paula Jones. The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Monday, Sept. 30 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Laurel Pearce, 1810 Vandora Springs Rd, Garner.
