Faye Buffaloe Warren

Faye Buffaloe Warren, 80, passed away at her home early Friday morning. A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late William Bryant and Caroline (Carrie) Bryan Buffaloe. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Warren was a first grade teacher at Vandora Springs Elementary School. A graveside service will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday, January 26th at Warren Family Cemetery, 260 Warren Mill Rd., Newton Grove, NC. Surviving: her husband of 52 years, Larry J. Warren; daughter, Dr. Kristi W. Durgin and her husband, Dr. Harry “Tex” Durgin, of Meridian, MS, as well as four grandchildren, Isabella, Ava, Harry and Warren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Caroline Lynn Warren; sister, Carolyn B. Biles and brother, William B. Buffaloe, Jr. As a lifetime member of Ernest Myatt Presbyterian Church, the family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in her memory to the church at 4926 Fayetteville Road, Raleigh, NC 27603.
