Faye Byrd

Angier– Faye James Byrd, 83, passed away on Saturday at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Vera Flowers James.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 29th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 1st in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. The burial will follow in the Byrd-Williams Family Cemetery, Angier.

Faye is survived by her daughters, Wanda Brown (Earl Davis) of Angier, Virginia Beasley (David Ekin) of Angier; son, Ralph Byrd (Karol Byrd) of Angier; grandchildren, Christian Kepley of Angier, Amanda Peterson (Jennifer Peterson) of Erwin, Deven Byrd of Angier; great grandchildren, Alexis Jones, Gavin Bogacki, Hailey Clapp, Alyana Clapp, and Kellan Kepley.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her loving husband in 2015, Fred J. Byrd; sister, Joann Maness and a brother, Joseph Allen James.
