Faye Dorman

COATS – Faye Matthews Dorman, 79, passed away on Friday at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Johnny G. Matthews, Jr. and Cleo Cobb Matthews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 20th at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. The burial will follow the service at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 19th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.

Faye is survived by her husband of 59 years, Billy J. Dorman; daughters, Sandi Dorman Herring (James) of Lillington, and Angela Dorman Ferguson (David) of Coats; sister, Deborah Denning of Angier; grandchildren, Joshua Whitaker of Lillington, Christiana Turner (Joseph) of Benson; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Turner, Ellie May Turner, and Mason Turner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Krystian Whitaker; and brother-in-law, Wesley Denning.
