Florea Petronje

RALEIGH – Florea Petronje, 91, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022. Florea was born in former Yugoslavia, modern day Serbia, on January 21, 1931. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Petronje; and a daughter, Anuea Petronje. She is survived by her daughters, Giolina Ruzeu and husband, Nic, Ana Petronje; son, Peter Petronje and wife, Monique; grandchildren, Trandy and wife, Marianna, Daniel, Ned, Bobby, Jennifer, Patrick and wife, Alex, Reika; her great grandchildren, Justin, Monica, and Isabella; and her adopted daughter, Tanja Powell and husband, Stewart. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Catawba Springs Christian Church in Apex. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
