Forrest Ray Smith

RALEIGH - Forrest Ray Smith, 64, went to heaven on Friday. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Gherman Ray Smith and Dora Avery Baucom. He is survived by a sister, Loretta Smith Rittenhouse and husband, Barry; stepfather, Tom Baucom; stepsisters, Yetive Capps and husband, Louis; Julie Jones and husband, Danny; and Katherine Baucom; stepbrother, Tommy Baucom and wife, Ruth; uncle, Sam Avery; numerous nieces and nephew, and numerous great-nieces and nephew. A Graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Garner, NC. The family will receive friends after the service.
