Frances Ann Hasty Sutton

RALEIGH – Frances Ann Hasty Sutton, 83, died Wednesday. Born in Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Thomas Hasty, Jr. and Sara Roberts Hasty. A memorial service will be held Friday, 10:30 am at Edenton Street United Methodist Church. The family will receive at the church following the service. Inurnment will be at a later date. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Coats and husband, Tommy of Coats; son, Al Sutton and wife, Joy of Raleigh; brother, Glenn Hasty of Charlotte and her grandchildren, Christopher Coats, Shane Banks and Devon Rose. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.A. Sutton and her brother, Tom Hasty. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Edenton Street United Methodist Church.
