She was a former member of Angier Fellowship church previously known as Saints Delight. Her employment history included working in the tobacco fields and the school cafeteria along with babysitting as a military wife. As the wife of an enlisted Army serviceman she traveled around the United States to many states as well as Panama and Germany. Her education and knowledge was not of a high degree but whatever she did she made sure to do it correctly that was always important to her. She lived the example before her children as a loving Christian mother and taught them about Jesus to the best of her knowledge. During her last hospital stay she made it clear to almost everyone she was yearning to go to her heavenly home. Frances made sure to let her daughter-in-law Martha know what she wanted for her funeral. Martha was told the 2 songs to be sung, the dress she wanted to wear, and the speakers to speak. She also told Martha she is to say something. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00am-12:00pm on Tuesday, prior to the service. To know Frances Winders was to love her. She was one of a kind who had a heart of love and never wanted to hurt anyone through actions or words. Frances has fought a good fight, she has kept the faith, and now she has received her reward her heavenly home. Rest in Peace Frances C. Winders. You were dearly loved and will be missed but never forgotten.
