Frances King Culpepper

Raleigh - Frances King Culpepper, 97, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011. She retired from Southern Bell Telephone Co. (Bell South) after 36 years of service. In addition to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Hill King, she is predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Ty A. Culpepper; two sisters, Lena King Farmer and Elizabeth King Jones; and brother, Centennial (Connie) King. Survivors are her daughter, Rebecca Culpepper Bumgardner; grandsons Ty Matthew Bumgardner, Alan Wayne Bumgardner and wife Luann; great-grandson, Clifton Barrett Bumgardner; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Graveside Funeral Rites will be Thursday, 2:00 PM at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Rd.
