Frank Harrison Holt

RALEIGH – Frank Harrison Holt, 97, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Frank was born in Wake County on September 23, 1924, the son of the late Marcus E. and Hilda Collins Holt. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Dorothy Boyles Holt; sisters, Grace Buchanan, Eloise Galloway, Helen Davis; and a brother, Larry Holt. He is survived by his daughter, Vickie Holt Daniel and husband, Peter T. Daniel, of Raleigh; son, Frank H. Holt, Jr. and wife, Elizabeth Sprague Holt, of Raleigh; grandchildren, Kathryn Lanier and husband, Jonathan, Peter T. Daniel, Jr. and wife, Michaila; great-grandson, Wyatt Lanier; brother, Lonnie Holt; and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Raleigh, with visitation an hour before the service. The burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
