Frank Patrick Lovick, 84, born on May 1, 1939, to the late Robert ‘Frank’ and Almeta Lovick, died
Monday July 24, 2023. Frank grew up in Erwin, NC and worked various jobs learning the construction
trade before founding what would become Lovick Builders, Inc, with his late wife Faye in 1968. They
were prolific developers building hundreds of homes in Wake County. They developed Shotwell Landfill
in southeast Wake County. Frank and Faye began the teardown and rebuild residential construction
phenomenon in North Hills in 2005 that continues to this day.
In his earlier years Frank served in the US Army from 1959-1961. Frank was preceded in death by wife
Faye Lovick, son Brent Lovick, brother ‘Nickey’ Lovick.
Frank is survived by his son Trent Lovick, grandchildren Alexandra, Parker, Marshall and Cole; niece
Morgan.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 1 from 10-11am at Bryan Lee Funeral Home at 831
Wake Forest Rd. Raleigh. Followed by Funeral services at 11 am.
