Frank Vito Costanza

WILLOW SPRING – Frank Vito Costanza, 93, died Sunday. A native of Cicero IL, he was the son of the late Vito and Josephina Costanza. Proudly serving his country for 23 years he was the first Computer Engineer in the Marine Corp. He was also a career “Mustang” Marine retiring at the rank of Major. Following his retirement from the Marine Corps Frank went on to work for IBM retiring after 13 years then went to work for the National Security Agency retiring after 13 years. A Service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Survivors include his daughters, Mary Lynne Northrup (David) of Raleigh and Sheila Stevens (Dennis) of Orange, VA; sons, Frank James Costanza (Joan Appleton) of Bristow,  VA,   Patrick Vito Costanza (Mary) of Ashburn, VA and Donald Joseph Costanza of Hedgesville, WV, 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Mary Carvey Costanza; his second wife, Gloria Lidd; and five sisters.
