Fred Thomas Page

April 5, 1934 — November 25, 2023

Fred Thomas Page peacefully entered his heavenly home on November 25th, 2023, answering the call of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A seasoned merchant marine and a valiant military paratrooper, Fred embodied courage and dedication throughout his life. Yet, beyond his remarkable career, Fred will be remembered as a loving father whose unwavering faith illuminated the path to a heavenly existence here on earth. He ardently shared the profound message that faith and trust in Our Heavenly Father could establish a semblance of heaven in our lives.

In every casual conversation, Fred underscored the significance of belief and held steadfast to his conviction. A kind-hearted soul with a precious spirit, Fred had a unique gift for infusing joy into the lives of others through his quick wit and infectious laughter. Being in Fred’s company meant leaving with a heart uplifted, as he had a remarkable ability to find humor in any situation.

Fred leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that touched the lives of all who knew him. His departure creates a void that will be keenly felt, yet the memory of the spirit he shared on earth will continue to brighten the heavens above.

Fred is preceded in death by his step-father, Willie T. Hedgepeth, his mother, Zada Belle Lawrence Hedgepeth, his sisters Ruth Smith and Anne Albery, his brother John Durwood Page, and his brother-in-laws Charlie Smith, James Albery, and David Holleman. He is survived by his daughters Melody Dupree (Larry) and Deborah Page, his grandson Ryan Dupree, his granddaughter Caroline Truelove (Norwood), and his great-granddaughters Charlotte Grace Truelove and Mary Kathryn Truelove. Fred is also survived by his brother Jerry Page (Diane), his sisters Joyce Niles (Gene), Judy Holleman, his sister-in-law Wilma Page, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In honoring Fred Thomas Page’s memory, let us reflect on the joy he brought to our lives and find solace in the knowledge that his spirit now graces the heavens with everlasting sunshine.
