Frederick Harold Ingoe March 21, 1950 – June 3, 2021 Fred passed away at home June 3, 2021. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Fred was quiet, humble and had a gentle spirit. He was born March 21, 1950 in Coral Gables, Florida to Harold Frederick & Peggy Ann Ingoe. Fred grew up in Miami with a love for sailing and the water, which led him to work at the Coconut Grove Yacht Club in his younger years. Next, he worked for over twenty years as a meat butcher. He earned his degree in nursing at Wake Tech Community College, and began working at WakeMed Hospital where he retired 27 years later. While there, he met the love of his life, Renee. Fred loved fishing, gardening, and was extremely proud of his home. He became quite the craftsman as he and Renee built up their homestead. Fred was an excellent cook and grill-master and those that benefited from his homemade salsa were the lucky ones. His July 4th firework extravaganza was legendary and a neighborhood favorite. His love for animals spanned his entire life. He was quite fond of cats, dogs, and horses. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Renee Merrell Ingoe, son, Hunter William Ingoe and wife Jacquelyn, granddaughter Hannah Jane Ingoe, sisters Kathie Ingoe Kinkaid, husband Ray, Pamela Ingoe Broadhead, husband Ken, brother Larry Edward Ingoe, aunt Helen Ingoe Boyle and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Our sweet Fred will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
