Furman Jamison Brannon, Jr.

CLAYTON – Furman Jamison Brannon, Jr., 90, died Thursday. Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Furman Jamison Brannon, Sr. and Eula Mae Howell Brannon. He was an active member of Highland Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and greeter. Celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Highland Baptist Church, Raleigh. Burial will follow at The Baptist Center Church Cemetery, Clayton. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 pm at the church prior to the service. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Catherine Brannon; daughter, Cathy B. Ennis (Steve) of Garner; sons, Barry Jamison Brannon (Becky) Clayton and Samuel Craig Brannon (Chris) of Navato, CA; six grandchildren, Anna Leigh Brannon, Lauren M. Brannon, Stephanie McMaster, Ryan Brannon, Loren Brannon, Casey D. Ennis and Kelsey L. Ennis; one great-grandchild, Julien Brannon.
